How To Open a Ticket from an Alarm

Introduction

The Alarms module shows all the details about the Active Alarms. It further allows you to open a ticket related to an alarm if needed.

Steps

Go to: Alarms > Active Alarms

1. Hover over Alarms on the left-hand side

2. Click on Active Alarms

3. Under the Ticket column, click on the Add button for the alarm you want to open a ticket for.

4. Add the Title

5. Add the Description in the given field to explain the important details of the ticket

6. Choose a status from the Status dropdown

7. Use the Priority dropdown to select the priority of your choice

8. Click on the Assignee dropdown to choose the person you want to assign the ticket to

9. You can find a person to supervise the ticket from the Supervisor dropdown

10. Click on Assets to choose the associated assets. The asset used to open the ticket will be selected by default

11. Choose the Start Date and End Date by clicking on the respective buttons. The end date can either be assigned manually or will be set automatically the day the ticket is set in progress

12. Click Create to create the ticket with all the entered details
