How To Open a Ticket from the GIS

Introduction

The GIS comes with a feature to help you open a ticket for your asset from the same screen. All you have to do is follow a few steps given below.

Steps

Go to: GIS

1. You can access the GIS module from the menu on the left-hand side

2. Select which asset you want to create a ticket for. Click on the three dots icon next to it

3. Click on the Create Ticket option from the dropdown menu

4. Add the Title

5. Add the Description in the given field to explain the important details of the ticket

6. Choose a status from the Status dropdown

7. Use the Priority dropdown to select the priority of your choice

8. Click on the Assignee dropdown to choose the person you want to assign the ticket to

9. You can find a person to supervise the ticket from the Supervisor dropdown

10. Click on Assets to choose the associated assets. The asset used to open the ticket will be selected by default

11. Select the Start Date to choose the start date of the ticket

12. If applicable, click on the End Date to choose the end date of the ticket. This can either be assigned manually or will be set automatically the day ticket is set in progress

13. Click on the Create button to create the ticket
