How To Open a Ticket from the Logbook

Introduction

The Logbook allows you to open a ticket for a logged entry or the issue related to it. All you have to do is follow a few steps given below.

Steps

Go to: Logbook

1. From the Logbook from the left-hand side menu, you can access all the logs

2. Click on the three dots button for a logged entry you want to open the ticket for

3. Click on the Create Ticket option from the dropdown

4. Update the Title in the field. The description of a log is automatically put as the title for the ticket, but you can change it if desired

5. Add the Description in the given field to explain the important details of the ticket

6. Choose a status by clicking on the Status dropdown

7. Click on the Priority dropdown to select the priority of your choice

8. Click on the Assignee dropdown and choose the person you want to assign the ticket to

9. Click on the Supervisor dropdown to choose the supervisor for the ticket

10. Choose the affected Assets

11. Click on the Start Date to choose the start date of the ticket. This can either be assigned manually or will be set automatically the day the ticket is set in progress

12. Choose an end date by clicking on the End Date

13. Create the ticket by clicking on the Create button
