How To Edit a XY Scatter Analysis

Introduction

You can modify any existing scatter analysis the same way you create a new one. In this article, you will see how to navigate to your desired analysis, open the scatter analysis plotting details side menu, and make updates.

Edit Analysis

To edit an existing analysis, you will use the same functionality as when creating a new one.

  1. Go to XY Scatter Analysis module

  2. Open the dropdown and choose the analysis you want to modify

  3. Click on the scatter analysis details arrow button to open the details window

  4. Edit the name by clicking on it

  5. Change the different screens to make edits to:

    • Assets screen, where you can pick different assets to analyze

    • X Axis signal, where you can change the main signal

    • Y Axis signals, where you can modify the 3 signals used

    • Gradient, where you can pick another gradient signal

    • Review the changes

  6. Here you can either:

    • Reset the changes,

    • Move to the Previous / Next screens or

    • Save the changes

Note: You can move between steps by clicking on the Previous/Next buttons or by clicking on the step icons.
The 5 inline icons represent the 5 screens for Assets, X axis, Y axis, Gradient and Review.
