Introduction
Integrating a Nordex turbine into Farsight is a straightforward process, provided you have the necessary information and files ready.
Farsight’s goal is to reduce the onboarding time from weeks and months to under 10 minutes, allowing for a seamless and efficient setup.
Requirements
Farsight® Admin account
Pre-Shared Key, Remote IP, and Remote Subnet
Certificate File and Private Key File
Adding a Connection, Sites, and Assets in Farsight®
Go to: Asset Manager > Asset Manager
Open the Asset Manager module and go to the Asset Manager page
Click on + Add Connection
3. Select Wind
4. Click on the Next button
5. Select Nordex UA
Log in and Connect
Select OpenVPN 2.3
Drag and drop your OpenVPN Configuration File then click Next
3. Wait for the VPN validation to pass and click Next
Add Power Plant
Input your new Site Name
Add the OPC Server ip address
Add your Username and
Drag and drop your Certificate file and Private Key File
Select how much historical data you want to import
Click on Test Connection and wait. Once it is green you may click Next
Add Assets
Click on your newly added Site

2. Add the Database Server ip address
3. Add the Username and Password
4. Select how much historical data you want to import
5. Click on Test Connection and wait. Once it is green you may click Connect
6. Click on the Site so you can then add Assets
Add Assets to a Connection
Select how many Assets you want to add to your new site
From the dropdown, select the exact Model for each individual asset
Once you have selected every model, you may click Finish
Once you are done, you will be able to see your assets inside the Asset Manager Assets page
