Filtering alarm logs in Farsight® is a useful process. Alarm logs help you keep track of specific events that are of particular importance to your operations.

Open the Active Alarms page

Select the Timeline for the alarms

The Name filter allows you to filter alarms by name, i.e., Fault or Maintenance

Type allows you to filter by asset types

Severity allows you to filter by 1 to 5 severity levels

Click the Clear All button to remove all filters

Choose Asset Group to view associated alarms

Group the alarms based on your preferences

Edit the Columns to have a customized view

1. Open the Active Alarms page
2. Open the Alarms Log
3. Choose the Assets of your choice
4. Select the Timeline for the alarms
5. Open the Filters dropdown
6. The Name filter allows you to filter alarms by name, i.e., Fault or Maintenance
7. Type allows you to filter by asset types
8. Severity allows you to filter by 1 to 5 severity levels
9. Click the Clear All button to remove all filters
10. Choose Asset Group to view associated alarms
11. Sort the page entries
12. Group the alarms based on your preferences
13. Edit the Columns to have a customized view
