Introduction
You can create work orders from any open ticket. This connects a work order with the ticket for easy traceability and transparency.
Steps
Go to: CMMS > Tickets
1. Click on your desired ticket
2. Open Work Orders tab
3. If you want to link it to an existing work order, choose one from the Work Orders dropdown
4. You can choose to see Work Orders Linked to Other Tickets as well
5. Create a Work Order if you want to link the ticket to a new work order
6. If you want to start the Work Order, click on the Allowed to Start radio button
7. Fill in the Title for the Work Order
8. Add a Description
9. Choose a Status and Type
10. Use Source and Supervisor dropdowns to choose from the options
11. Select Affected Assets
Note: Work order assets must belong to the same site as the tickets
12. Choose a Scheduled Start Date and a Scheduled End Date
13. Select Actual Start Date and Actual End Date or leave them empty
14. Click Create to create a work order with the added information
