Introduction
The Work Order functionality allows you to track, create, and perform operational tasks necessary for the productivity of your power plants. This includes generating and tracking work on specific assets, including maintenance tasks, legal obligations or regulatory compliance.
Steps
Go to: CMMS > Work Orders > Create Work Order
You can close the window by clicking on the X
Toggle on/off based on whether the new work order is allowed to start
Write a descriptive title
Provide as much information as necessary to perform the work order
Work Order fields:
Status: Open, In Progress, On Hold, Closed
Type: Inspection, Preventive Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, Service, Troubleshooting, Other
Source: Asset Management, Contract, Event, Legal Obligation, Other
Supervisor: Pick a supervisor from the dropdown
Affected Assets: Pick all the assets targeted by the work order
Scheduled Start/End Dates: The calendar dates when the work order is scheduled to happen
Actual Start/End Dates: The actual time period the work order was performed
Click on the Create button to generate the new work order
