Introduction
Setting up alarms in Farsight® is an effective way to proactively monitor the events that matter most to your operations. Alarms automatically notify you of critical conditions such as faults, silent outages, warnings, equipment misalignments, temperature deviations, and other operational events. To simplify monitoring and improve organization, alarms can also be color-coded, allowing you to quickly identify and prioritize issues at a glance.
Steps
Go to: Alarms > Alarm Triggers
Go to Alarms module and open Alarms Triggers
Open Color Settings
Navigate between Alarm Type and Area tabs
Click on the color of a specific Alarm Type to open the color picker
Once you made the changes, click Save New Colors
6. The Area tab lets you make the same configurations
7. The Action tab lets you Reset color only if you picked a custom color code. You cannot reset default colors
