Introduction
Dashboard widgets are modular, self-contained interface components that display specific information or functionality. The KPI widget exists specifically to allow you to use your desired KPIs and display them in your dashboards. You may use it with default KPIs or with your own custom KPIs.

Steps
Go to: Dashboard > Add New Widget
Scroll down and click on the KPI widget
2. Select the desired KPI from the list. These can be default KPIs or your own custom KPIs. Besides the KPIs in the dropdown, you will see the targeted technology, Wind or Solar
3. Select your desired assets
4. Select the desired time period. Since a dashboard KPI is designed to be set up once but be used indefinitely, as such, all time periods are relative instead of fixed so that the displayed data remains relevant. Choices include: Last week, Current week, Last month, Current month
Since the Dashboard is designed to showcase recent relevant data, you do not have the option to display data from large periods of time, i.e Last year, but you can always get that data from the reports module
