Introduction
Onboarding Elipse connections to your Farsight® account is a straightforward process that can be completed within a few minutes. The quick onboarding can reduce the onboarding time from weeks and months to under 15 minutes, allowing for a seamless and efficient setup.
At the moment, Elipse connections can only be established on request. Reach out to us for any assistance in onboarding Elipse.

Adding a Connection, Sites, and Assets in Farsight®
Go to: Asset Manager > Asset Manager
Open the Asset Manager module
Go to the Asset Manager page
Click on + Add Connection
4. Select Solar
5. Go to the Next page
Log in and Connect
1. Select Elipse LDP in the Select manufacturer dropdown
2. Input the Pre-Shared key
3. Optionally, you can open the Advanced Technical Specifications configurator
4. Go to the Next page
5. Wait for the green checkmarks to validate that credentials and connection
6. Go to the Next page
Add Power Plant
1. Input the Plant Name so you can recognize it Farsight®
2. Input the LDP Server address
3. Select the period to Import historical data
4. Click on Test Connection to validate it
5. Once validated, you can proceed to the Next page. You will be redirected to the new connection’s assets page
6. Select the desired assets you want to add
7. Select the applicable model for the asset
8. Select the desired period for the Data Import
9. Select or add a new cabin. You can have multiple cabins
Once you are done, click Finish to go to the next page.
Add Assets
1. Select the desired cabin you just created and click on it
2. Click on the pencil icon to configure the inverter custom data
3. In the Sensor tab, you can pick the associated irradiance sensor. Irradiance data will not be available until a sensor is selected
4. Once you are happy, click Save. The yellow “Missing sensor” message will disappear for the configured inverter
Now you will be able to monitor your new asset data inside Farsight®, for example, by visiting the Portfolio module.
