Introduction
The Portfolio module lets you keep track of all assets without any configuration needed. You can use the filters to find exactly what you are looking for and run your review of the data returned.
This is useful precisely because, unlike specific dashboards, you can query everything in one place.
Steps
Go to: Portfolio > Portfolio > Filters
From here, you can filter your portfolio results to better see what you are interested in.
In the image below, specific filters have been used to query the Portfolio results, showcasing only the exact sites we want to review out of all available sites. In this example, we are looking for sites that:
Have an active power (MW) between 1 MW and 50 MW, and have an OK status over 3 (namely OK status 4 & OK status 5).
The example portfolio page shows only the sites and assets that fit those specific filters.
NOTE: The results are based on Real-Time data, and as such, are updated live based on which sites and assets fit those specific filters at the moment.
The Filters button opens up the filters pop-up page on the right-hand side of the screen. Once you select any filters, the button’s name will change to reflect this. Since the example image shows 3 filters, the button’s name has been changed to 3 Filters Applied. You can always reopen the pop-up and update your filters or even clear them all
The X button closes the filters page
The trash can icon deletes an individual filter. To remove all filters, use the Clear All button
Change the logical operator used to chain your filters. You can chain multiple filters with the AND logical operator, and those filters will have to be true at the same time to return results. Alternatively, you can chain your filters with the logical OR operator, and those filters will have to be true one at a time, and still return results
The individual filter is composed of 3 parts: The assets STATUS (Active Power MW, OK, Fault, Warning, Service, or Unknown); the equality operator; and the VALUE. The equality operator lets you choose how the filters should work based on the individual asset details. Choices are between Higher than a certain value, Lower than a certain value or Equal to a certain value. You can use this to filter any asset Status that is higher than, lower than, or equal to a certain value (usually in the 1-5 range)
The Add Filter button lets you add multiple filters and chain them together with the logical operator
Examples of Filters
In the image below, there are 4 active filters applied, and we can see in real-time results on the left.
The example query can return:
All assets with an Active Power between 1-50 MW AND a Fault Status lower than 2
OR
All assets with a Warning Status higher than 4
If the system cannot find any results on the logical AND operator filters, it will try and return only the results on the logical OR operator.
