Introduction
Onboarding Sungrow solar sites into FarSight ® is a quick and easy process. Follow the steps below to have your assets available in a matter of minutes.
Requirements
Farsight® Admin account
Your account name, password, API key, and Access Key for the Sungrow iSolarCloud centralized server. If you do not have these, you must first login to your Sungrow iSolarCloud web portal, then go to https://developer-api.isolarcloud.com/#/createApplication to create a new API account. Once you have filled out the form and have been approved by Sungrow, then they will send you these credentials so that you can enter them into Farsight®
Creating a Sungrow Connection
Once you have the requirements above, go to the Farsight® web app at https://farsight.app, then go to the menu bar on the left side and click on

3. Add Power Plant
You can choose one site to add immediately by clicking on the radio button to the left of the site name. Other sites can be added at any time in Asset Manager once you are finished with this initial setup
It is recommended that you import the historical data for the site at this step. You can choose any period from Don’t Import to Up to 10 years
Click the Save and Proceed button to import your site and go to Asset Manager.
Note: When importing historical data, we can only import existing data going as far back as the original source allows. If your site has only been connected to the iSolarCloud web portal for three months, then we can only import three months of data.
4. Add Assets
After clicking Save and Proceed, you will be taken to the Asset Manager page. From here, you can now see your new Sungrow connection.

Choose whether to import historical data or not. If you want to import data, you can choose to import from the last month, the last three months, the last year, or up to 10 years. Depending on the subscription tier you are using, some limits may apply
After you finish selecting all the assets that you want to add and finish adding cabins to all of them, click on the Finish button to import the assets.
